Shelter News–Busy Week-end

Recently the TSAS was able to build a new laundry shed.  As most shelters there is a constant supply of laundry to be done.  Previously we had the washing machine in the cat room, making it quite crowded,  The dryer was in a storage shed.  We now have a new building designated for just laundry, two washers and a dryer, laundry sink and folding counter.   The out building  that had been in this location was actually a large dog run with fiberglass panels attached to the sides and top.  This building was moved over and will be used for another dog play yard or if needed quarantine area. This week-end the  fiberglass panels  that were on the sides were removed and recycled. The panels were  attached to three outside corner kennels.  In the past we would have to put up tarps on these kennels to help keep the icey cold wind and rain off the animals in these runs.  Now with the more permanent siding installed we are ready for the weather.
