Thanks to the Ryan Miele Animal Welfare Endowment the shelter was able to complete much needed renovations,. The shelter was built in 1997 and 2/3 of it needed a some major tlc. The walls of the kennels were having major safety issues as the original metal was thin and sharp. Dogs were tearing it apart in some places and in others there were sharp edges that needed to be fixed. Jason Shepard and his crew of Robbie and Mike from Sierra Metals did an amazing job of tearing out all the bad parts and replacing with new easy to clean walls. To see all the pictures before and after go to “About Us” at the top of the page, click on Shelter Gallery then 2015 Renovations.
