The Tombstone Small Animal Shelter would like to give a big THANK-YOU to the Benson Pony Express. On Saturday, November 18th, they held a benefit trail ride to raise funds for the shelter. Their effort brought in $70 which is greatly appreciated by the shelter volunteer staff.
The trail ride began at 10:00 a.m. from the Tombstone Monument Ranch. The trail was new to the riders and they discovered some interesting old rock walls. The weather was perfect and everyone had a great time. Upon their return, a delicious lunch was provided at the ranch restaurant.
The Benson Pony Express is hoping to make this a yearly event.
