* To provide the best possible care until they go to forever homes.

* To help ensure all Tombstone area cats and dogs are spayed, neutered, vaccinated, and healthy.

Who We Are at Tombstone Animal Shelter

Our History

The Tombstone Small Animal Shelter is a 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill shelter operated by volunteers dedicated to finding homes for unwanted and abandoned animals in the Tombstone area and educating the public on the benefits of spaying and neutering their pets. 

No Kill Animal Shelter

 We proudly comply with national no-kill standards. We don’t euthanize except when injury, disease or temperament makes other options impossible. All animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and chipped before leaving the shelter. Animals are never given or sold for research.  

Funding

We are funded solely by the generous kindness of animal loving donors such as yourself who give to our non-profit organization. We do not receive City, County or Federal funding. 

We provide all of our animals with the necessary medical care, including vaccinations, spaying/neutering, and treatment for any illnesses or injuries they may have. Our team of veterinarians and vet techs ensure that all of our animals are healthy and happy.
